Josh Reinitz is Certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court in Municipal Court Law. He is a Trial Attorney who leverages his more than 20 years of experience representing clients in New Jersey’s criminal and municipal courts to obtain the results his clients need.

But he’s more than just an accomplished litigator—he’s a community fixture in both the legal community, where he serves in his second term as a Trustee of the New Jersey State Bar Association, but also in his local community, where he currently serves as the Deputy Mayor. He is renowned for overturning convictions on appeal and is a sought-after legal educator who has helped shaped policy across the state through his appointments by the Chief Justice of the New Jersey Supreme Court to serve on the Municipal Court Practice Committee and several working groups related to municipal court practice.

His peers voted Josh as the 2019 New Jersey State Bar Association Municipal Court Practitioner of the Year, he also received the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Amicus & Advocacy Award, and served in the past as Chair of its Municipal Court Practice Section and was a fellow in the Association’s inaugural Leadership Academy. He also co-authored an Amicus Brief in State v. Olenowski before the NJ Supreme Court which decided the parameters for the use of DRE testimony in DWI cases statewide.
